BISE Swat board that is another educational system in Swat Saidu sharif khyber pakhtunkhwa, it was formed in the year 1990 when it was found that there is a need of educational system in nothern areas too. It provides facility to students of Nothern areas that don’t get much opportunity to enhance their academics. There are many institutions affiliated with the board and they run under the rules and regulations of the board and board is the main governing body which can bring about all changes. Previously from year 1990 to 2005 authority was with governor of province but then it shifted to Chief minister from 2005 and onwards. There are many functions of the board registration of students, syllabus, model papers and research work.
Other important sections are migration certificate, summer camps and providing medal to students who top in curricular as well as co-curricular activities. Academics of Swat region was initially under BISE Peshawar board but with time and progress attributable to high density of students it was separated and BISE Saidu Sharif Swat. Management of the board is done by chair man and secretary, admissions for matriculation start two months before examination while for intermediate they start almost 2,3 months before examination. Forms are posted to affiliated institutions as well as available online for easy registration.

There are many private and government institutions affiliated with the board and there are many girls and boys who appear annually in examination. Books and syllabus is prescribed by the board and government and they are revised time to time. Examination for matriculation are conducted in the month of march while for intermediate they are conducted in the month of April. For evaluation and checking board requires almost three months therefore results are declared after three months approximately, matric result is announced in the month of july and intermediate in the month of august.
Those students who top and get good results are awarded with prize, awards and scholarships other function is to help students who financially can’t afford their studies. Board is trying to bring all possible changes making student, teacher and parents triangle my arranging seminars and workshops to train faculty work and bring students forward that satisfy parents. Deaf and dumb students are also provided with facility to complete their education by appearing and attempting examination. Subjects and groups are some different at matriculation and intermediate level, groups at matric level are science and arts, other groups at intermediate level are pre medical, pre engineering, commerce, computer science, general science and arts that builds up a strong foundation for students for professional study.
